Meals

7 breakfasts · 3 lunches · 3 dinners. Every included lunch and dinner is at a restaurant with a full vegetarian menu, and we time meals so nobody is looking for food at 15:00 in an unfamiliar city.Vegetarian eating is genuinely comfortable on this route — Little India in Singapore and Brickfields in Kuala Lumpur both have pure-vegetarian South Indian restaurants, and Penang has long-established Indian kitchens in Georgetown.Pure-vegetarian-only kitchens are not guaranteed: hotel breakfast buffets are shared, and we would rather say so than promise otherwise. Jain meals are arranged at named restaurants with notice at enquiry, and your tour manager carries the group's dietary sheet everywhere.

LI
Your tour managerLalita Iyer

Lalita has led more than thirty departures on this route and plans it around the same rule every time: one thing before lunch, one thing after a rest. She meets the group at Changi arrivals and stays with them to the departure gate in Kuala Lumpur, carrying the group's medical and dietary sheet throughout.

Families who took this trip

We had almost given up on going abroad again. Two short flights instead of long bus rides, and a rest every afternoon — that is what made it possible, not anything grand.

Vasant & Kamala Deshpande · travelled Feb 2026, ages 74 and 71

Lalita had wheelchair assistance waiting at all four airports without me chasing it once. The Kek Lok Si lift was a small thing that saved my knees the whole next day.

Suresh Iyengar · travelled Nov 2025, group of 14

As a solo traveller in my late sixties I was worried about being the odd one out. The single supplement is honest and the group was small enough that by day two we were eating together anyway.
