GoTravelBlue
Our story

We started this the way every good journey starts — around a family dining table.

GoTravelBlue was founded in 2013 to bridge a gap between affordable group travel and truly personal planning. Thirteen years on, we still plan every journey the same way: one conversation, one family, one person responsible from start to finish.

Where it began

A gap nobody was filling

In 2013, planning a family holiday in India meant choosing between two bad options: a rigid group tour where nobody knew your name, or weeks of doing everything yourself. We had watched our own parents come back from "package tours" more tired than when they left.

So we started small — a handful of families, journeys planned over long phone calls, and a promise that the person who planned your trip would answer the phone while you were on it. That promise has never changed.

Where we are now

Bigger, but deliberately not big

Today we plan journeys across sixty destinations for thousands of families — and we have stayed small enough that every journey still has one name attached to it. Our travel managers average over eight years with us; several have planned three generations of the same family's holidays.

We measure success in families who come back — not in bookings per day.
Our journey so far

Thirteen years of planning, one family at a time

2013Founded to bridge a gap in personalized travelStarted with a handful of families and a promise: the person who plans your journey answers the phone throughout it.
2016First escorted group departuresSmall fixed-departure groups to Europe and Southeast Asia — never more than a size where the tour manager knows every name.
2020Stood by every family through the shutdownEvery affected booking was rescheduled or refunded in full. Many of those families are the reason we're still here.
2024Crossed 4,800 families servedA number we're proud of mostly because so many of them are the same families, travelling with us again.
…and the next chapter is planned the same way as the first — one family at a time.

TransparencyOne clear per-person price. No surprise supplements, no fine print.
Personalized serviceOne person owns your journey from the first call to the drive home.
The people who plan your journeys

You'll know your travel manager by name

Every journey is owned by one of these people from the first call to the drive home. No call centres, no ticket numbers.
