Char Dham Yatra, Gentle Pace
Day-by-day itinerary
We collect you in Delhi and drive the 220 km to Haridwar, about five to six hours. Nothing else is scheduled: check in, rest, and walk down for the evening aarti at Har-ki-Pauri, where your tour manager finds a seated spot away from the densest part of the ghat. Your Uttarakhand yatra registration is completed today and the slips handed to you.

Where you'll stay
Accommodation on the yatra route is not comparable to a city hotel, and Badrinath and Guptkashi are the plainest nights of the trip — clean, warm and safe rather than comfortable. We would rather you read that here than discover it at check-in. Ground-floor or lift-served rooms are requested everywhere and confirmed where the property has them.

Pricing
Per person on the dated May–June and September–October departures from Delhi. Pony, palki and helicopter rates are set locally and are shown here as guidance, not as a fixed price; they are paid at cost. If a temple stays closed or a road is shut, we refund the unused ground portion — no service fee retained.
Born in Rudraprayag district, Devendra has led the Char Dham circuit for fourteen seasons and holds a current wilderness first-aid certification. He carries the oximeter, decides when a guest should turn back, and has told plenty of people they were not going up that day. On a senior-citizen departure that is the most important thing he does.
Families who took this trip
“We were told honestly that Kedarnath by pony was beyond us and that the helicopter was the sensible option. Nobody tried to sell us bravery. Both of us completed all four dhams.”
Ramesh & Kamala Sundaram · Couple in their late sixties · May 2026“My mother is 74 and stayed back at Ukhimath on the Kedarnath day with the manager's assistant while we went up. She still counts it as her yatra and so do we.”
Sushila Devi Joshi · Family group of seven · June 2025“The pacing and the food were exactly as described. Badrinath night is rough — cold and very simple — but they had said so in writing beforehand, so it was not a shock.”
